Corona in Apple’s top 10 development tools!

Not sure if this is the result of today’s Downloads > Development Tools (Most Popular)” href=”http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/development_tools/index_top.html” target=”_blank”>most popular development tools.

We knew that Apple had already chosen Corona as a Staff Pick tool a couple months back, but the sheer popularity of Corona on the Apple site — as demonstrated here — is news to us!

Thanks to you all (again) for making Corona so popular! :-)

Smultron is already a dead project taken over by Fraise.
Java EE 5 SDK Update is not a tool, it is an update, a framework required not only for development but also to run certain apps
Silverlight is a plug-in like flash, no one really develops Silverlight stuff on the mac (do they?)
SVN clients are again tools, not development platforms.
so, Take these away, Corona is in the top5 tools for development and the #2 development platform after Objective-Basic (it has an integrated IDE and works with IB)

Way to go Corona…

Now let’s get to #1! Judging by the old (and nasty) projects that are in the top 10 this shouldn’t be a problem at all :)

Really odd list. J2EE? Silverlight? And these are on the Apple site?
